ISL Waste to save McDonald’s Belfast City Centre £5,000

In November 2016, ISL Waste Management teamed with Belfast BID (Business Improvement District) to offer a trade waste and recycling initiative which has never before been offered in Northern Ireland.

Replicating the success previously experienced by the Bath BID project (and after a very intensive tendering process) we teamed with the Belfast team to offer savings and efficiencies to businesses falling within the city centre boundaries.

Save on Waste with Belfast One

The group buying power leveraged by Belfast One, means that the 750 members can save up to 30% on their waste solutions, while enjoying better service levels and co-ordinated collections.

Following our appointment, Barry Donaghy, Director of ISL said, “We place great importance on the quality of our service because we recognise the value customers place on reliability and the fact that we represent them in contributing to a clean and environmentally friendly streetscape.”

Stewart McFarland, McDonald’s Business Manager revealed that ISL have helped him achieve great cost savings this year. He said: “McDonald’s in Donegal Place will save over £5,000 with ISL.”

We were able to help Stewart in this way, by helping him streamline his waste processes and by introducing new efficiencies and systems.

Mourne Seafood Bar and Clements Coffee Shops are also enjoying savings, as well as achieving zero waste to landfill status. This means all their waste is being reused and recycled.
